To many of us, 65 years of age means stay at home and not to do much too demanding. But, to Uncle Hu, this is how we call him, 65 means the beginning of his dream fulfillment. On July 12th, he is on his way to the fist step of his grand journey – Ride across China.
He chose China as the first stage of his grand journey for two reasons, one is for his origin and the other is for remembrance of his parents. Uncle David will start from the northernmost tip of China, North Pole Village in Sierra Da Shin An of Black Dragon Province (Heilongjiang Province) and head south. He will pass by his birth place of Xu Chou, and then, follow the route his parents took in 1949 when they brought the young Uncle David southward to Taiwan due to the bloody civil war in China.
Rikulau was proud to be the chosen provider of his travel bike. We made him a titanium touring bike to accomplish the mission, and we also help on the supplies during the journey.
We wish him a good luck on the first episode of his dream journey.
