Rikuzilla (Rikulau+Godzilla) invades Tokyo again. This time, the 953 racing machine, the super Titanium, and the artistic Hakka touched the hearts of the Japanese consumers.

Tokyo Cycle Mode is a domestic market oriented show. Unlike Taipei Cycle Show that focused more on the innovative products and was full of international buyers, the end consumer is the main character. Therefore, most of the participating companies provide test products so that consumers have the first-hand experience on their products.

This is the second time Rikulau attends the show. Again, we presented with the well-know Japanese brand – Tyrell. Rikulau is still alien to the Japanese consumers. However, the three test-ride bikes had been very popular, and hardly stayed in the booth.

Japanese consumers are not familiar with Reynolds 953. But they were curious about it. After the ride, the first word spoken was normally “WOW”. Titanium, on the other hand, had always been in the Japanese market. However, the agility and stability that Rikulau Super Titanium bike presented was something they had never experienced. They were all impressed by the 1 1/2 inch head tube and the overall performance. As to Reynolds 853 bike, Japanese consumers were familiar with, However, never a CrMo bike so artistically presented like Hakka.

Three bikes, though differ in style and characteristics, were equally appealing. Very soon, Rikulau will be running in the “Land of The Rising Sun”.
