Rikulau has been lucky to be selected by TAITRA (Taiwan External Trade Development Council) to be visited by the international bike magazine reporters.

On November 19th, reporters from the major bike magazines in seven countries visited Rikulau. The event is one of the warm-up activities for Taipei Cycle Show 2010 organized by TAITRA. This is the third time a reporter visit is held. Every year, a few Taiwanese companies are featured, and interviewed by the invited magazine reporters. The interview will be released on the respective magazines to draw attention to the buyers in these countries.

This year, TAITRA invited reporters from seven renowned magazines, namely Cycle Press (Japan), Bicycle Retailer and Industry News (USA), SAZ Bike (Germany), Bicycling Australia (Australia), Cycling Plus (UK), Wieler Revue (Netherlands), and Solo Bici (Spain). They visited nine Taiwanese companies. Rikulau has been lucky to be one of them.

During the 90 minute visit, Rikulau gave briefing on the background of the company and how the company strived from a very humble start to the current status. Future prospects were also presented. During the walk-tour through the manufacturing process, details on how surface finishing on titanium and Reynolds 953 stainless steel frames were explained.

The reporters were all impressed by how much handcrafting and patience were involved to produce a Rikulau frame. Besides, they were all astonished by how a company of this small scale and short history could develop so many products of this delicacy and quality. Blessings were given to have a successful Taipei Cycle Show, and to see Rikulau products in their countries in the near future.
